Security Vessels
Vessels available at Risk Limited for its operations are the Tier 1 option of Penguin Flex Fighter / Damen / Nautic Sentinel. They are purpose-built vessels for security operations with the following characteristics:
- All-Round Wheelhouse Ballistic Protection
- Fixed Gun Mounts with Ballistic Shield
- Escort speed performance of 12-18 Kts with Interdiction speed performance of up to 26-28 Kts
- Routine maintenance and servicing being adhered to
- All Flag / Class / Insurance documents being in order.
- Southgate Risk Limited is ISO Certified
The vessels we use undergo full maintenance and servicing. Southgate Risk Limited ensures that all flag / class / insurance documents are in order.
Certification & Compliance
Southgate has certifications and accreditations from various regulatory institutions on maritime safety, local content and cabotage such as Nigeria Navy, Department of Petroleum Resources, Nigeria Port Authority and Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency.

Our recruitment process is divided into 3 stages covering Pre-Physical Fitness Inspection, Aptitude Test, and Oral Interviews.

Compensation/Reward
System & Insurance
Our compensation policy is competitive as related to our industry and is driven by experience, performance and diligence. There is a system in place for overtime for exceptional performance and extra duty, which includes periodic safety allowances, yearly profit/performance bonus and leave allowance. We also carry valid indemnity insurance cover and adequate workman’s compensation insurance.
Our medical scheme is monetized to give enough flexibility to the employees.
